Anastacia  Donohue (O'Neil)
Anastacia (O’Neil) Donohue, 90, of Westerly, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was the wife of the late William E. Donohue who predeceased her in 2006.

Born in Pawcatuck, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth O’Neil.

Anastacia worked in catalog sales for JC Penny Co. for many years and had also previously been employed at Pfizer, BDA, Walmart and Mystic Color Lab. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and volunteered much of her time with various local organizations including The Westerly Hospital, Meals on Wheels, the Chamber of Commerce and the Adult Literacy Program at the Westerly Library.

She will be dearly missed by her two sons, Jeffrey W. Donohue of Westerly and Terence P. Donohue of Bristol, CT, and also Linda and Jacky; two sisters, Frances O’Neil and Marie Roy, both of Pawcatuck; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anastacia was predeceased by her four brothers, Jack, Joseph, Raymond and Grant O’Neil; and two sisters, Elsie Fusaro and Ruth Cramer.

Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday at 11am at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail in Exeter. Attendees are asked to arrive at the Main Office building at 10:45a.m. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements.
