Mary A.  Casale (Lombardo)
Mary Antonia (Lombardo) Casale, 87, of Westerly, RI, went home to be with our Lord December 31, 2016, after a brief illness. She was born in Stonington, CT.

She left behind her devoted husband of 68 years, Angelo A Casale, as well as her children: Thomas Casale and wife Joyce of Gainesville, FL, Angelo Casale, Jr, of Westerly, and Debra Shelor and husband, Don, of Greensboro, NC. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Sara (Casale) Geiser (FL), Beth (Casale) Provost (FL), Kim Casale (TX), Adam Spurlock (SC) and Amanda Moyers (NC) and 12 great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind a brother Gaspar Lombardo; 3 sisters, Josephine Robinson, Conni Cofone and Frances “Babe” Thibodeau and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Lombardo and brother John Lombardo.

Mary worked many years at Yardney Electric in Pawcatuck until her retirement in 1991. She was an active volunteer at the Westerly Senior Center and a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
