Obituary for Florence M. Buck

Florence M. Buck
Florence M. (Vacca) Buck, wife of the late Charles D. Buck, of South Anguilla Rd Pawcatuck passed away on Sunday September 18, 2016 at the age of 88. Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Vencenzia Vacca.

Florence enjoyed gardening in her younger years. She is survived by two daughters; Virginia Brayman, and her husband Clarence “Pete” Brayman who was Florence’s caregiver, of Pawcatuck, and Deborah Bendfeldt and her husband David of North Stonington. She also leaves one brother Silvio “Chippy” Vacca of Pawcatuck as well as nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Florence was predeceased by her son Ronald Buck.

Funeral services will be held in Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home 59 Spruce Street, Thursday at 12 noon. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery. A visiting hour will precede the funeral service from 11 am – 12 pm.
