Obituary for Joseph A. Deteves
Joseph A. Deteves, 53, of High Street, Westerly passed away peacefully at RI Hospital in Providence on Thursday, December 31, 2015.
A lifelong resident of Westerly, Joe worked as the Sales Manager for Westerly Auto Parts for many years. He previously worked at Western Auto, Walsh Auto Works, Don Panciera Chevrolet and Foreign Auto. He also owned and operated his own repair shop in town. A graduate of Rhode Island Trade School, he was ASE certified and an avid car buff.
He leaves behind his fiancée Cindy Perkins and several cousins who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his mother, uncles, and grandparents.
