Obituary for Bartolo R. Matise
Bartolo Matise, 91, of Brass Ring Rd., Westerly, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday April 10th 2021.
Born in West New York, NJ, he was the son of the late Bartolomeo and Giovanna Matise.
After serving in the Korean War, Bartolo became the owner of B&B Market in Leonia, NJ where he worked for over 40 years employing many relatives and friends.
He will be missed by his three children, Fred J. Matise (Irene) and Michael Matise (Desiree) of NJ and Debra Tell (William) of Westerly; his sister Ida O'Rourke of PA; and a grandson Michael Jr. Bartolo is predeceased by his sister Angelina Coletti. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
