Armando C. Trombino, 93, beloved husband of Maria (Bevacqua) Trombino, of Old Hopkinton Rd., Westerly, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
Born in Rovito, Italy, he was the son of the late Francesco and Antonietta Trombino.
Armando was a working leader of the Maintenance Dept. for Harris Graphics for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening and was devoted to his family and church, Our Lady of Victory.
In addition to his loving wife Maria, he leaves 4 children, Anthony (Michael) of Cambridge, MA, Alfred (Ruth) and Armando, Jr. (Colleen Love), all of Westerly, Angelo (Shannon) of E. Hampton, CT; 7 grandchildren, Austin, Kathryn, Justin, Mikey, Aidan, Avery and Addison; one great-grandson Grayson; and several nieces and nephews in Italy and the U.S. Armando was predeceased by grandson, Adam Trombino; and siblings, Nicola, Mario and Teresina Trombino.
The family would like to thank Hope Hospice for their extraordinary care in his final days.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-6p.m. at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Attendees will be expected to follow guidelines for wearing masks, social distancing and capacity limitations of the funeral home, imposed by the Dept. of Health.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Church, 69 Main St., Ashaway. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
